“Erratic” explores the loneliness and emotional detachment raised while exposed to the flat landscapes and cultural challenges present for 11 years since the artist moved to the Netherlands. Borrows the notions of displacement and disparity, from the geological term Glacial Erratic*, to represent the continuous conflict and attempts made to belong to a foreign country.
* the term used to describe a glacially deposited rock that differs in size and structure from the surrounding rocks where it rests
